M&B Catering is the culmination of husband and wife team Maurice and Bianca Jackson. Both chefs hail from the South and got started cooking at a young age which fueled their passion and excitement for all things culinary. Their passion propelled them both to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta where they obtained Bachelors degrees in Culinary Arts Management. From there, these two have worked all over the city of Atlanta and combined, they bring over 20 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. They have a long tenure in some of the best kitchens in Atlanta including Wyndham Hotels and Hotel Polamar, country clubs that include Cherokee Town and Country and Ansley Golf Club, and managed services companies such as Aramark and Compass Group. With this wide array of experience, both Maurice and Bianca bring a wealth of knowledge in various cuisines, cooking techniques, wine pairings, and catering.
What: Poached Pear Salad with Cranberry Pear Vinaigrette
Maurice and Bianca will walk attendees through the poaching process, demonstrate how to emulsify a vinaigrette and assemble the salad from start to finish.
